Myo (Cory O'Brien) has been experimenting with computers in music since 1996, and since 2003, has been recording and performing improvised electronics as Myo. His live sets are centered around voice and feedback manipulation using custom performance instruments built in Pd (real-time graphical programming environment for audio, video, and graphical processing).
Share is an open jam, not just for digirati, but for all new culture lovers. Participants bring their portable equipment, plug into our system, improvise on each others' signal and perform live audio and video. We furnish the amplification and projection. Share happens every Sunday in New York City at Reboot bar and restaurant at 37 Ave A (between 2nd and 3rd on the west side of the avenue) from 7 pm to 1 am.
Share currently meets on Sundays at Reboot restaurant (formerly called Two Boots Restaurant) on the west side of Avenue A between 2nd and 3rd St.
